I have found a diesel Silverado 3500 at a local used car dealer and I wanted to see if anyone could put some eyes on it for me and maybe take it for a test drive.

If anyone able, PM me at syntheticblinkerfluid at gmail.com for more details.

Thanks in advance.

Too far north for me, but hopefully some of the Atlanta guys will be in. Bumping to keep it up in the lists.

It's at Car Buyer USA

9875 Main Street Woodstock, GA 30188

It's a 2005 Chevy Silverado 3500 Dually. It is diesel, so check under the hood for any blatant modifications (I see that there are pillar gauges). Make sure there are no lights on, like ABS, Air Bag and the computer isn't saying to Service 4WD. When you start it up, look to see if it billows a cloud of smoke and what color it is.

Take it for a test drive and check for the obvious. Try to keep it out long enough that if anything is wrong it will trip one of the idiot lights. Check that the 4WD works.

Other than that, just the condition of the tires and if it's leaking fluids.

Thanks.

Ok cool. That's normal with 4WD. That means it's working lol.

As long as the mechanicals are good, a small dent doesn't bother me any. You wouldn't believe how many I've found with missing dually fenders or giant chunks taken out of them.

So I take it, that it drove well and nothing major? Tires looked good?
