Looking for like 3 ton jack stands that have a locking pin. Was hoping to find a sale on one for black Friday.
Side note - my harbor freight aluminum jack only gets so high, I tried a tall jack stand once and couldn't even get the front up high enough for the first pin... I wonder if I should have gotten a different jack.

I've used Harbor Freight jackstands for years and they are pretty good. And dirt cheap.
I second HF jackstands. Cheap and they work well.
Another vote for harbor freight. I also have a set from pep boys that are an inch taller that work pretty well. I know they and oreilly are having big sales through the end of the month. Pep boys even has a 25% off if you buy online deal going on right now. You can buy online and pickup in store to still get it.
I hear good things about these jack stands, but they seem way easy to tip -

Yeah, no, I don't like the looks of those either.
I get the 3 ton Craftsman stands at Ace Hardware. Cheaper than at Summit and WAY cheaper than Harbor Freight for the same lift height. $33 versus over $50 at HF.

What about the completely flat top jack stands? Any deals on those?
I really like/trust the ESCO 10498s. Flat top with rubber pad, 3ton capacity, wide base so very stable even at full extension. Regular price is $65 each, but I got mine on a black friday deal on Amazon for $50 each... you just have to google daily to find the sales. More expensive than my old craftsman pair, but absolutely worth the price difference.
I might buy two more. Here are the ESCOs at Coastal for $30 each, plus flat rate shpping of $9.

You might check Northern Tool. That's where I got my set of 12 ton stands.
I also cut a stack of 2" x 10/12"s large enough for the stands to sit on. That gives me 2" spacers if I need a little extra height.

+1 for Esco. They are on my wish list after borrowing some at the track one day. The 3 foot design seems so much more stable than any of the 4 foot designs of my own stands on any surface that isn't perfectly level. The round feet are also much more friendly on softer surfaces like asphalt.
I like my Escos. Good deals on them currently.

This is a killer deal. I paid around $50 each for mine when Amazon had them on sale and I'd do it again in a heartbeat. I still use my HF stands when I'm just doing something quick, but for big jobs or winter storage, nothing beats the stability of the ESCOs.
Remember, there is 2000#+ of car over you. Jack stands are where a bit extra is worth the coin IMO. If you need a higher lifting jack, HF has their 2.5 ton high lift model that works wonders for a garage.
With those Esos, my car has pins on the jack area. Can The pins just sit on the ESOS stands fine?

Edited for a "derp" reason, because I totally misunderstood your question & the pic didn't come through on my phone. I thought you were talking about a "vertical" pin, which seemed weird!
The pin you have a pic of is no problem, but it looks the jackign point is close to a cross member. I forget the diameter of the esco top part, but it might be too big to be centered under your jacking point without hitting the cross member. They also make cradle topped stands, which may better work for your car.
I have several sets of stands here - all different. By far the "go to" set is the 6 ton orange JET Tools stands. They go high enough that I can almost sit up under the car and are solid enough that there is no wobble even when cranking on things under the car. The only reason I ever use any of the others (craftman, HF) is because one car is already on the JETs.

The price on Amazon for a pair is about what I paid for 4 so... shop around.
Black Friday looms. Anyone spit a good deal on stands?
I will actually need to go out and buy jack stands Friday morning so I can complete my oil change in girlfriend parentgarage and continue road trip.
