Are You Synonymous With Your Car?

I am still called 'Turbo Tim' for having added a turbo to my intrepid I haven't driven in almost 7 years now... 

Yup.

Although I've owned a lot of cars, to many people I am 'MGA Bill"

That last one is an MGA - under the skin.  And those are just the three I presently owned - there have been a dozen others.

My dad and I both have the distinction of having cops waiting in our driveway after some 'fun' about town.

My dad was selling his 1969 Porsche 911S and was on a test drive, and I was coming home from the grocery store in my 1981 X-11.  The constable who was waiting for me was my elementary school PE coach (my mom was the elementary librarian while he worked there).

Neither my dad or I got a ticket.
