You guys are killing me... Let me look into pulling the head this week. I got the correct injectors so I am thinking remove turbo, and run with stock computer. My wife will be out of town so I could theoretically get it ready before hand....

If we blow it up again can we finally win biggest failure just for trying something stupid twice? This whole planning ahead thing is way too much for me.
In reply to pimpm3:Hopefully the miata will be sold by then. Everyone wants it but no one has showed up. The starquest will be my last option if I don't have something else gray with 2 doors and a turbo (volvo).
I thought they were AristoCRATES. Proper aristocrats have a cravat, velvet smoking jacket and trust fund. Oh and a butler to properly tie aforementioned cravat. No dog in the hunt, simply an observation. Relax your sphincter.

And, I'll be in Avon tomorrow morning for work. Too, bad I don't have the money and of course I'll be driving an International work truck.
I have heard a rumor that there will be another Lexus LS400 possibly owned by a D.Vader.
So apparently the 15th anniversary is pretty big thing in the universe.

The more the merrier. Which pro driver will want to be the designated luxury car driver?
My, this thread has been busy. Seems that we are generating some buzz.
A couple of great things I've read:

This is a short but powerful statement. An endorsement from the actual royal family of The Challenge, The Nelsons.
Thanks. I know you were a fan of The Q45 last year. I hope you will be there too.
Second: The legend of the message leaderboard, Quai Mofo could be joining! Really?
Third: An Oldsmobile could still be represented!
Fourth: Others a shopping and considering!
As I have eluded to elsewhere, I will bring additional trophies given out specific to The Members of the Aristocracy.

Thank you for creating this madness. Soon it will be the $2015 luxury car challenge.

The "Burl Wood" Award?

There is actually the national mustard museum in Madison WI. I've never been there but always wanted to go...
If I make it I will probably be on Conti-Pro-contacts or what ever they are called. I am only doing this for the fun of it. I don't really care where I end up in the competition.
Jeff wrote: Shopping for 9-5's as we speak. What exchange rate do I get to use, the one from the date of purchase?
When I competed in the $2008 I had the effective exchange rate at the date of purchase and I didn't get any grief for it. I think the key is documenting it clearly.
Where are you located? I'm looking at some very Challenge friendly BMW 740 on Kijiji in Toronto right now.
You'll need to log in to post.
