I mentioned this on another board, and one of the members there said that he forgot a magnet one time, too. His solution was to grab a door speaker from whatever car he was removing parts from.
That's the sort of info we need to be sharing. I never would have thought of that.
Tape measure, and pen and paper. Came in handy when I was buying P71 suspension parts for my 79 LTD.
Somewhere in mid-80s the distance between the lower control arms changed. Saved me from buying parts that wouldn't fit.
Locking lugnut keys. I was nearly thwarted by a locking lugnut this past weekend. I got lucky and found the key in the car's ashtray, but it could have gone the other way.
