Actually....Renault sold most of the control of it's F1 team...Renault/Nissan owns LADA....LADA sponsors Renault F1...the circle is complete.

If this somehow means I could buy a Niva here brand new, cool. Otherwise, I'm not sure how this matters.

Did anybody watch the TopGear episode on Commie cars? I think Jeremy called Lada Riva as "a car with 40 year old Italian designed, improved by Russian and still being built right now by Egyptian"...what can go wrong with that much pedigree???
