Damnit, looks like I have to go back to Texas already... I just moved out of Austin a few months ago. I was going to live minutes from F1 racing and that still wasn't enough to make me stay there haha. Never seen F1 in person, definitely have to experience it!

That's because they realized the whole Personal Seat License wasn't going to work at a new track with few confirmed events.
NOT cheaper than my B-more GP tix. But still nice.

I think I need to try to make it happen this year since I would have free lodging with a friend, but he graduates next year so that will be gone.

The PSL's are still in play. The GA tickets don't get you a seat unless you pay a bit more than the lowest price quoted.
However, there are plenty of berms and hillsides throughout the track where you can lay out a blanket and get a good view of the show.
