Does anyone know which year and trim level this grille is from? I know someone who would like this for Christmas.

I think its a 73. Check LMC truck for picks of the other years. Not sure if the grille varied beyond the engine size badge in the lower right corner. $135 from LMC.

I'm making myself an aircooled engine table, mounting the old piston and rod assemblies over the exhaust ports to support the glass. Something similar to this:

Some other ideas I've come across in searching:

License plate clock. Super easy to make with a $5 clock from walmart.

Valve cover coat rack

Ceiling Light

Photo frame from an old instrument cluster

Tailgate and trunklid tables

But there was a sofa that someone built that had a nice mix of wood and metal. didn't require any metal bending, and worked well with the seats. They were probably from a Jag, or something english. Can't find it now, my google-fu is failing me. Edit: couldn't find it, but this looks cool too.
I have a ton of those rail fittings if anyone is interested. They are expensive to buy new.

I am... how much?

Great thread! I've got an old Snap On bubble balancer that was in my grandfather's old Texaco station I need to do something with. You've given me ideas!

I'm reviving this thread because I found pictures of some really cool furniture that I saw this fall when I went to a little B&B. At first, it might look like a somewhat normal garden chair

But when you look closer...
