Looking to do some events up here, I see NASA mainly runs events at VIR and Summit Point, can't find much more info on SCCA or local clubs. I'd love to give this WRX a try at it.

WDCR is the local SCCA chapter, and they are extremely active and have access to some very nice sites.

NASA Mid-Atlantic autocross runs out of Richmond, VA - 2 hours south of you, but also an option. We've had DC-area folks come down to run with us before. Main venue is the parking lot at Virginia Motorsports Park in Dinwiddie, VA - surface has probably seen better days, but since it's the parking lot for a dragstrip it's nice and long, so we get some good speeds going.
Wdcr runs at fedex field. Still waiting for the actual contract to be signed before publishing dates but expect events to start mid march. If you have any specific questions about any clubs or sites in the area I can likely answer them.

There are a few other groups that do sporadic events here and there, but the above are really the main ones that run a full season.
Also, Mercedes Club runs out toward Winchester.
For the big, fun courses you should be looking at WDCR and AI though.
Ran with all the clubs and all hold great events and very competive in all classes!

if you're on stock suspension, you should give it a try at rallycross. we start up at summit point in March
