I owned an ex-Texas DPS 1990 Mustang. It was the shizzle at the time. Of course they aren't as epic now as they were in the 90s.
I've always been partial to the Italian Carabinieri (the federal police, not the traffic cops/Polizia), who have pretty much always used Alfas as their "regular" cars
used to have 164's and before that Alfettas
now Giulias

one of the other plans we had for a challenge car was a Polizia car, as a friend had a ti that he got for cheap.

The only two Troopers I know hated the Mustangs. Wouldn't hook up under hard acceleration, sucked in the snow and had no room, unlike the Shamu models.
