I also prefer the TV batmobile's looks to that hideous thing.
Is it just me or does the newer "movie" Batmobile look a lot like the Deltawing racer?

I saw the Deltawing run at Sebring, and I can say it does resemble the Batmobile, just minus the flames shooting out the back end.
now.. I have a question in regards to turbine powered cars.. do they use thrust to move, or is there a transmission involved and driven wheels?

That would depend on weather it had a transmission or not.

Who cares?
One day I will build a turbine powered something. Just hearing one spool up for the start sends shivers down spine.
Gotta say, the Batmobile looks pretty sweet in the video. What does fuel mileage matter in something that cool? If one has the money to even construct the vehicle, I'm fairly certain that the one doesn't mind what it gets per mile.
