Has any one used bed liner to paint a frame or wheel wells. Did you spray or roll on? Have seen the bodies of Jeep's painted with bed liner how does it hold up to everyday use and UV. How is adhesion. Have never seen a truck bed peeling and appears to be pretty tough.

I've used the spray-on stuff on the floorpans of the Neon.  Prep was just the basic wipedown with alcohol.  It didn't take too long for it to wear off where my heel rests, but otherwise it's been fine for the last several years.

I did the interior tub of my Jeep with Al's Liner (DIY version of Scorpion Liner) several years ago and have been very pleased with it.

I sprayed it on, bought their gun, which is just a Harbor Freight texture gun with their own nozzle.  You could do it with a regular drywall texture gun, or undercoating gun, I don't think their gun is necessary, the kit came with instructions to roll/brush it on too.

I documented it all here: https://grassrootsmotorsports.com/forum/build-projects-and-project-cars/muffin-1997-jeep-wranglertj/89687/page2/

I've heard good things about U-Pol Raptor Liner too, I'd stick with something like it or Al's that's a true 2 part, catalyzed epoxy, not just some latex paint with rubber crumbs mixed in.

These are sprayed with Raptor Liner using their kit that comes with the gun. I'm pretty pleased with them so far. I'm probably going to spray the bottom 6"-8" of the XJ with the same thing to protect it from the gravel and sand the tires throw up when off road.

I have seen tubs professionally sprayed as well as boats. The durability on the pro stuff is outstanding. My father has the underside of his mower done every 5-8 years to keep the sand from eating the deck out of it.

For a frame - I would stick with normal paint. About 10 years ago, I did the bed of my F100 with Raptor liner, and I painted the frame with brushed-on black Rustoleum over  Master Series rust encapsulator. The frame and suspension/axles look the same as the day I finished. The bed however is not holding up. Chips and scratches everywhere, no huge flaking but if you were to pick at the edges of the big scratches it would definitely come off.

Project Farm on YouTube did a comparison of the various spray-from-a-can bedliner products. Worth a look if you go that route.
