We don’t care how fast your car is, don’t show off in front of the GRM offices. Why’s that? Holly Hill PD has been running a speed trap in front of our office this week, sometimes even staging in our parking lot. Keep it on the track, right?

Unrelated question....what was the GRM World Domination Headquarters building in it's previous life ?

Originally a diner. It's also been a plasma clinic, lamp store and a Planters Peanut house store.

Are you guys open on the 26th or 27th of december?

Do they have to ask?  Do you have to let them?

They run a speed trap in the school zone around the corner of my house occasionally. They've stopped my wife, but let her go. I'm glad they're there, and I've told them so when I get the chance.

I've always wondered that.  If a cop decides to sit on your private property to run a speed trap, do you have the right to tell them to leave?

It's private property. So, yes, you can tell them to leave. Though it would be a pretty crap move. Also, who WOULDNT want the fuzz parked on your property? Talk about theft deterrents!

Yep, technically if it's private property you can ask them to leave.  I try to not sit places where I might disrupt the business though, and I've only been asked to go away once...

I'd love to have a cop set up a speed trap in my front yard.

Currently, all I have is the old curmudgeon across the street, waving his cane at people.
