Man, to be completely honest, with that lease deal i dont see how you can beat it.
And i dont like Smart fortwos.. My insight is faster, roomier, handles better, gets better mpg, looks better, and cost less to buy upfront.
But <$100 a month for a car you will NEVER EVER be tempted to waste additional money on, and shouldnt have any major repair worries? Damn dude. Id do it.

I really like the CR-Z and the Insight but man are they big car's when you start looking at the little stuff. I need to get over my flu and then really start cracking down. I will commuting with the wife until I find something. Plus I have to have something if I want to keep my cheap insurance on the prowler.
In reply to MadScientistMatt:
Pfft. With a Givi 460, I can carry enough groceries to have a single guy eating for over a week easily.

Just to be clear wearymicrobe, i was talking about my 2001 1st gen insight.
Although i will say the current CR-Z is a cool car in my book. That doesnt have any bearing on this conversation about fitting a car in a motorcycle parking spot, though.

I had no idea they were this cheap. Now I kinda want one.
What's the mileage limit on the lease?

They say 10K. So thinking this afternoon I am going to do it. Dragging the wife down tonight to have her drive it just in case she need to use it when her car is in the shop.
It will just fit and if I can get it in sideways we will have even more room. If she says no I am going to have to really think about selling something else and making some space for a more traditional daily driver.
Also sorry some of my responses were wandering around, the stomach flu has been kicking my butt.
