Today's my Bday, woot! Got a bunch of Amazon gift cards and I figured I'd buy a Griots polisher with them but apparently the one I want isn't sold via Amazon.
So is it worth the additional amount to step up to a Rupes? If so, which one?

I have the Rupes Bigfoot 21 MKIII and love it. I purchased this deluxe kit through amazon:
It's a great machine.
FWIW, I have two Griots orbitals. The 6" I've had for maybe 10 years.
I got a 3" about 2 years ago (it is so cool!) but after about 2 hours use the backing pad yeeted itself into the neighbor's yard. I called Griots and told them it broke. They wanted me to send it back but I just bought a new aftermarket pad.
I know they are all rebranded units but I've had good luck with them. Don't know a thing about Rupes.
What about this Adam's Polishes one? They're actually local to me, so if there's an issue with it I could potentially just drive there and exchange it in person...
I think I'm going to get an Adam's Polishes one. Watched a video from them about which one to choose, seems like the 15" throw one is the one to get. Since they're local to me support should be good. Once I get it, I'll order the rest of the stuff from them too (clay bar, pads, polishes, ceramic etc) then I'll have something to do for a few weekends cleaning up the R and 911...

And, IMO, it should stay that way. I have one of those, too, and I can tell you firsthand that you can do some damage with it very quickly if you're not careful. It's also not random-orbit.
Ended up ordering the "Ultimate Kit" with the 15mm polisher from Adams Polishes. Top tip, it's cheaper on Amazon then thru their direct site. Also ordered their Ceramic kit. I'll be busy in late August/early September using this stuff on the R and 996...
