Why would anyone consider a flex not a wagon? Its pretty much the definition of station wagon. A lot of the others are not, but the term is used so loosly these days.

Granted the Flex is a station wagon built on the explorer fwd suv chassis, but still.

Not super recent but Mazda 6 briefly offered a wagon - and some had manual transmissions!
