Right. Except he nearly hit the left wall while in the air, turned the steering wheel, which did nothing, set it down with the steering wheel still turned, at which point it cut hard right and nearly hit the right wall.

Yes, but, this was on asphalt, with no ramp. With cut down terra tires no less, not even slicks. Granted it was with RWD only, but still!
10,000 lbs with 8 second 1/8 mile times is pretty impressive.
He's covered the 1/4 mile at 84.49 mph, the 1/8th at 86.56 mph, and jumped that thing over 200'.
