One of our district SCCA members is known as 'The Race Rev'. For years, he had a program that took kids with cancer and their families to the racetrack to ride around during the lunch break. Hurricane Ian dealt a serious blow to a lot of his equipment when the storage unit lost the roof.
An indirect consequence of the storm was the location of his trailer and race car. I won't go into details about the property owner, as he is not the problem. His mother hired a company to come in and clean up her son's property after the storm. One of the things they cleaned up was the car and trailer, and now no one seems to know where it is.
Here is his website, where there are quite a few pics of the car, and even one with the trailer behind it. He was going to sell the car, as 2020-2022 put a serious crimp in things that Ian finished off. He's also in his early 80's now, and has gone through two bouts of cancer himself.
