Bummer. Is there some sort of work around there available (kit cars, over a certain age, etc?) The posibilities for just under 20K sunny day fun cars seem pretty broad.

Not really, at least not that I'm aware of. The only legal swap is the old mustang 5.0. That's not awful but it isn't great either
