I'll let you decide.

Hello, we pulled the powertrain out of our windstar and put it in a different shell. we turned the old body into a trailer and have used it for awhile. We've driven this trailer all over fully loaded with no problems whatsoever at 60 mph. Only considering selling to do repairs to the roof of our home.
This enclosed trailer is:
structurally sound.
doesn't leak.
has own jack.
has trailer light hook ups.
has safety chains.
has good tires.
trailer takes 1 7/8 ball.
Most enclosed trailers come at an arm and a leg. this could be a camper, work trailer, or used as storage. If you have any questions or would like to arrange a time to look the van over feel free to email us. asking 350$ thanks for looking!
That's probably one damn stable trailer with how little there is behind the axle. But at the same time, a bumper-pull with the axle(s) set back that far creates a serious tongue weight problem!
Tongue weight doesn't look too bad. Not a fan of the 1 7/8 ball. I'm guessing there are no brakes hooked up. It would probably attract a close look from law enforcement.
I'd stay away from it.
At least you can take all your stuff with you for your fiery Viking funeral.

Used for serial killing business from the look of the place!
I've seen this done better where they cut it off at the B pillar to a least halfass balance the thing.

I think I'm more scared of the Bronco that they are towing it with.

Wasn't the rear suspension bits of that Windstar the part that rusted away and failed?
In reply to RossD:
Why yes, yes it was. The rear axle rusted out to be exact. There was a recall but most just got braces glued on.

Well, I'll have to start watching the local news for a story about a rusted out bronco towing a rusted out Windstar when something bad happened...
Yah know since there's no new Packers news and there's nothing else going on in Wisconsin
Hmm both of them look like death traps to me LOL
What could possibly go wrong? I have to say I appreciate the concept, but it's super sketchy.
it's more than super sketchy. I would think an extended van body would be better
If you pulled the dash out of the windstar that would reduce the tongue weight more. Yank out everything you can in front of the rear axle.

I love how the OP just tosses that turd over the fence and lets the rest of us decide whether we like it floating around in the pool or not...
How is that even legal? Do you put a trailer plate on it?
This is Grm, brilliant idea and death trap aren't mutually exclusive
Resourceful, unique, and totally GRM.
And a deathtrap.
Does that Bronco have solid rods in place of springs? Why no sag? That thing should have mucho tongue weight as stated several times already.
I've thought about doing that with a school bus and a gooseneck hitch.

So, buy the trailer and pull it to the Ford dealer and request the recall be performed

If the thing is fully gutted, it's probably not too bad when empty. The tongue weight problem comes in when it's full of stuff.
