Sure

Look, all I am saying is if this were a thread about how awesome I am or how hard I rule - I would totally be upbeat about it.
The challenge isn't my deal so I really don't care if they invite the judges from American Idol - but this is a forum, jes? There was no indication that I must conform my opine. I'll try harder in the future.

Rutledge Wood and Adam Ferrara are two of the most annoying human beings I've seen on television.
If it's good for the Mag, that's great. It certainly isn't an alluring proposition from my perspective though.

Speaking of perspectives...
/changeofsubject
What would happen is there will be stunt double cars. That we will quickly notice all the inconsistent details and point out.
And somehow modifications will disappear and appear again later.
:P
In all seriousness it would be cool if they did a build over the course of a season. Especially if they would take as little as a few minutes per episode to cover their progress on their project, then later in the season could do a segment on the challenge itself.
Thats probably asking a lot.

Rutledge is like pretty much every car guy I've hung out with for the last 40 years or so. He'd fit right in with most of us. Glad to hear that you're a superior human being to the rest of us, though.

Likewise, I'm happy bring that little ray of sunshine to your day.

I'm for it. If they did it like they sometimes do with other motorsports where they enter and promptly get stomped by the locals... game on. I'd love to see Andy tree any of those 3 in the quarter, and the Hongs hand it to Tanner in autox. Adams game would be....... concours? Iono. Either way, I don't think they'd win unless they had a ringer car.

I think you misquoted Per, here.

I like the cut of your jib. A TG vs. TGUS episode would be great (like the TG vs. D-Motor episode)! They could take on the Trifecta of Crap- LeMons/Chumpcar, BABE Rally, and GRM Challenge.

TGUK = international stars with 325 million viewers
TGUS = not so much
I'm thinking that getting the TGUS guys to the Challenge is actually very realistic.
While James May would probably dig the Challenge, I'm thinking those dudes have WAY bigger fish to fry. That might be the biggest get ever if it happened...
I think it could be said that a big part of the Challenge is about luring as many of the auto-loco's out of the woodwork as you can so that you can see what monsters are living out on the hairy edge.
I say we invite them to take their best shot
In reply to gamby:
Wasn't there just an interview about the Hamster being a closet Americanican? If we can't pull them all, maybe getting him to come observe the TGUS guys is a realistic long shot.
In reply to bluej:
Yeah, just let them know that the track is a few miles from the place they ate the Camaro cow, and I'm SURE they'd be in for it
