He sends me a picture from the local wholesale auction, then tells me he bought it. 1988, manual, 47k, not a speck of rust and interior perfect. V6. Orange ext. Looks like the previous owner had it garaged. Mass car. Damn what a beauty. He's keeping it to bring on the move to Georgia.

He's new to hobbies in Motorsport and wants to know what suspension he should go for. I'm a bimmer and miata guy and didn't have much to offer . Looking for the aggressive stance and not a harsh ride so coils are out.

Thoughts..

I had one of those for a while. There is not much of an aftermarket for them. He will have to mix and match S130/S13/S14/Z31 parts to get anywhere...see this thread: http://club-s12.org/retro4/index.php?topic=18617.0

tl;dr: the ONLY bolt-on solution for decent shocks is Tokico Illuminas, using S130 fronts and Z31 rears and SSC springs.

Aggressive stance and a nice ride pretty much means good coils.

Yep. Good coilovers are the business.
