Anything that directs air is a diffuser? I'm with you, the end piece at the back is "the" diffuser, but I guess these would be deflectors or something? I dunno, I'm no aerodynamicist, but Porsche thinks they work and they are cheap, so why not?

Had to look in on this thread - the words 'bargain parts" and Porsche are so rarely linked together!
Bought another set for our endurance race '62 plymouth valiant.
They look perfectly at home on my 1964 dart .. attaching them to the front sway bar was effortless.
We're using c5 vette brake ducks on our new civic endurance car, nicely flattened section for tire clearence.
Gutted the headlights and installing the inlets thru the lights.
I was a little disappointed. Apparently one side was sold out but the other side was still in stock. FCP Euro just sent me one air deflector...
In reply to calteg :
Hmmm, their site says that both sides are available. Could the second be on the way?
In reply to calteg :
What side are you missing? I may have a spare.
In reply to Error404 :for mk 7 VW you can get Audi ducts that zip to control arms. A little dremel trimming and you're all set.
These parts still available?
Thanks
Bargain?
Porsche?
These words do not go together....

But here they do!
Seriously, though, as someone who’s regularly buying Porsche parts, the prices can be amazing–because, to be honest, they can be all over the place. I’m about to order a clutch. Depending on the vendor, prices range from about $545 to $900+. Same manufacturer, same part number.
Check out the Cadillac CT5-V Blackwing brake ducts... fits great on BMW F-Chassis cars.
The Porsche parts are currently on sale for less than $7 each. I just ordered a pair for $21 shipped.
Not bad of an idea, I was leaning towards using the duck foot vac attachment mounted in the wheel well with tubing leading from the fog light openings.
Some of these air vents look interesting considering the focus braking system has the directional vents that mount under the car. Not to hip on that idea. don't want to scoop up snow as I'm driving..

Just ordered up a set for my AE86. For $12 hard to go wrong. (Plus I can say I have fancy Porsche parts on my car)
I'd love to see pics once you install! My 86 Starion has similar suspension so if it works for you it will work for me too

Nice to see these are stil a bargain. Well done.
I have a set of these on standby in the garage for my 08 civic. The tiny brakes on the non SI model can get really hot.
It still holds the informal record for hottest caliper as measured with a laser thermometer after one track sprint run (less than a full lap) at the Firm: over 700 degrees F.
I'll be installing them before the next sprint event, definitely before the next Challenge track day.
Here are the ones I put on my Toyobaru a couple years ago. I trimmed the lower-left corner to clear that bolt and the upper-left to clear the tire at full lock. I tried cutting away the heat shield near the scoop but that seemed to be just a noisy way to make a Dremel wheel disappear (no luck with tin snips either), so I just folded it back instead:
Can be seen peeking out from the front:
Edit: There wasn't space at the rear for either these or Audi RS3 scoops, one of the control arms sort of has an integrated scoop but it's pretty minimal. I might try a Blackwing scoop there next.
