A long time friend that owns a hot rod shop just offered me a complete front and rear C4 vette suspension,X member and front crossmember included.He will also include the factory wheels.He wants $400 for the entire works.Should I snag it to retrofit into one of my amc projects?

Dude, you should have bought that as soon as he offered. Still nothing better out there suspension-wise for retrofits, especially for that price. You can swap out the transverse leafs for coilovers if you want, it's just an awesome suspension setup for what it is.
It was pretty random that he mentioned he had it.I called to get a couple measurements off a 59 rambler American I sold him and he offered it to me.I plan to go out to his shop this week.It's tacked to a frame of a project in his shop.
