Looked at 3 different Eurovans today, found a good one that I'm probably picking up this week. Fingers crossed.
Assuming automatic, check the maintenance and function of the trans especially closely. If 12v VR6 find about timing chain service.

The bench seat has 3 sets of seat belts (mine does) but I honestly don't know if that's kosher for mounting car seats.

What is the tow rating on your Caravan? If you end up with a small travel trailer, you can pretty much ignore your tow rating.
Thanks to having both higher weights/capacities and longer wheelbase than their 5000 lb rated 3-row CUV counterparts, it turns out that minivans are considerably more stable up to their 3500-3600 lb limit than the rating alone might otherwise imply.
$13.9k seems high for 190k miles but here is a former camper van from https://www.jucyusa.com/
The website says that Jucy sells the vans directly too with prices starting at $7k. https://www.jucyusa.com/rvs-for-sale/ I am not sure if the CL listing is actually from Jucy or not.
I considered a eurovan years ago, looked at new and used a decade later.
the transmissions are a weak spot and what turned me off in the used market.
I will repeat the earlier comment, check for transmission service and proper operation.
the transmission was in the “can’t be rebuilt” category at that time
It's the 2am and 8am poops that make the toilet convenient. I am reaching a certain age where when you have to go, it is NOW. I always thought those were guys much older than I am now.

Rebuildable now. $4k assuming the core is good, $3500 core.
Manual trans can be sourced from Europe, conversion is possible for about 7.5k if you do the work, 15k or so if farmed out.

Will any of the FWD Audi Motor/trans work ?
Nope, Eurovan is transverse, Audi fore & aft. No other VW trans will work, either, since the VR6 is clocked differently in the van to fit under the hood.

working fine, regularly serviced and equipped with a cooler already. Engine was just rebuilt by a specialist shop, timing chain and tensioner included. This one has had a string of fairly meticulous owners.

The seats have to face the front to legally mount carseats, which is surprisingly difficult to find among campervans.

That makes sense.
Awesome! Congrats, and enjoy.

Agree! You know I always thought it would take longer to get this old!
