This is the presumed water/methanol injection system on the RV & there's a leak down in this general area. Before I get time to pull the battery & try to access it I was wondering if anyone recognizes the logo? I'd like to see if I can find any documentation for it.

Well I finally dug in & tore the unit out. I had to bend the battery tray support brackets up & out of the way to get it out(it was that, disconnect the a/c lines, and/or remove the radiator).

I'm not completely sure it is the Burger Motorsports kit, or even a methanol injection setup now? That says "Turning Hydrogen Into Fuel" which last I knew hydrogen is a fuel.

 

I did find the leak, there's a crack down one side of this box. I'd guess it froze with water inside at some point. I'm not sure if I should try I fix it & reinstall it, or just remove it all at this point?

Remove it, cap off any connections, and throw it in the trash. 

That is a snake oil "Run your engine on hydrogen" conversion kit that various kooks have peddled for the past 30 years. Often called HHO, the idea was that you would run a saline solution through the "generator" and using your 12 volt electrical system, it would split the hydrogen and oxygen molecules which would then provide enough combustible hydrocarbons to improve your fuel economy and performance without any negative side effects (except for maybe destryoing your electrical system).

Ok, after looking at the system out of the RV, I'm not sure this could have ever performed any function? Here’s the basic setup. The components are at the same relative position to each other as they were in the RV. 

On the bottom is the pump/osmosis-o-fier/hopes & dreams generator. There are 2 lines connecting it to the main reservoir - I presume as send & return lines? Above it, and the highest point in the system, is the smaller reservoir. Then continuing on from it was the line running to the nether regions of the engine.

We tried making our own hydrogen generator once. It was a bench build using a battery charger and a 5 gallon bucket of water. We were able to make hydrogen pretty easily, the problem was that to make any useful amount of hydrogen we needed about 80 amps at 14vdc. We figured forcing the charging system of the hyundai it was intended for to produce an extra 80 amps of current would negate any fuel savings the hydrogen generator could provide. Apparently it it's true what they say about energy having to come from somewhere, etc. Of course, as you can imagine, it took a lot of beer to build a hydrogen generator in one afternoon, so after we scrapped the plan of installing into a car as unfeasible we started making little hydrogen explosions with our five gallon bucket bomb. We kept ramping up the hydrogen production until the certified bucket lighter (Me, wearing all the appropriate PPE for the job, including a plastic face shield and light jacket) was unceremoniously blown out of his chair and temporarily lost his hearing. It was at this point that we felt it best to dismantle the entire operation for obvious safety and legal concerns. A lot was learned that day about running a car on hydrogen, so I will reiterate the statement that you should just remove the kit, because in the end, the real savings are the friends you make along the way.

Thanks for the firsthand report! That might also explain why it was attached to a ammeter on the dash too.
