I don't think he means road worthy. Just able to fire up the engine .

External Combustion engine?

It probably could be put back together quickly, not much to it.

I could almost get that up and running in a day as long as the heads and block were clean and the babbets were in decent shape.

Running does not always equal driving. But he is still a glass half full kind of fellow.

Yep, no problem. The best thing about old stuff like that is there are no hidden bolts and it probably only has two wires. It could be fully disassembled, frame and all, in a pile on the ground and you could have it running in a day. Not much to those things.

Actually the Henry Ford museum does this, twice a day IIRC. I dont think they pop the engine apart or anything like that, but its disassembled to a pile of parts and reassembled in under a days time.

You'll need to log in to post.
