The grease fitting on the inner tie rods on my elky are impossible to get to with the tie rods installed. Ive tried 90 degree zerks, but still incredibly difficult.
Can I drill through the side of the housing and put a zerk there? Or am I liable to kill myself?
Does your grease gun have a straight end, a 90, or a slotted straight? I find it easier too change ends then drilling holes.
straight round end. theres others?

We have a 90 degree end, and straight with a slot in it so it slides over the cert from the side.either one beats trying to turn and jamn a normal straight on.
One that slides over sound like the solution. Got a link?

This. While you're at it grab these as well:
Plews 05025
Plews 05037
First one is for hard to get at U-joints and such, second is for non-greasable ball joints and tie rod ends. Both lifesavers!
wow. im learning all sorts of new stuff!!
now to go spend money.
any more must have grease gun fittings?
Id grab a 90 too if you dont have it. But that slide on has gotten us alot of business from the old car crowd because we can get too the weird certs.
Ohh and you can buy the hypodermic style in disposable version. We keep a pack handy.
