What's the best place to find up to date info on this. I'm too lazy to google for myself.

Have any of you imported cars from the USA into Canada?

No I have not imported one. If it is older than 15 years then you don't even need to follow RIV.

Cars under 15 years of age must be on the RIV list of admissable cars.

I brought my MGA in from Wash. state to BC last August. Quite simple. Just needed a copy of the title sent to the border crossing at least 72 hours prior to the car coming in. Paid the HST on the Canadian side and drove the car on the Wa. plates and the temp insurance I purchased.

I wonder if I could hack the site and add an Elise to the approved list

(To the guys in the black helicopter circling my neighbourhood -- I'm just joking).

Now where is that tinfoil. Oh yah it is in the Kitchen.

I have seen your posts about an Elise over on the MCO website. Is it the bumper requirement or something that blocks Elises from Canada?

Installation is a reversal of removal.

From what I understand, the word "Canuck" is a derogatory slur that is found to be offensive by most Canadians.

I believe that they prefer the term "Snow Mexicans".
