What was the car that Stark drove off in at the last of the Avengers?
I thought I saw an Acura badge on it.

It looks like the prototype, but it's actually a 1991 NSX reskinned to look like it.
Inside Line did a drive in it.
Don't get me wrong, I loved the movie, but the Acura product placement was a bit blatant, wasn't it?
And Audi in the Iron Man movies. Look, they need financial support to make these movies and better it come from cool cars than having Iron Man drinking Sobe Coconut Water. (Man does coconut water taste like ass. Who is trying to convince us that crap is palatable?)

I thought the sky-high prices of theater tickets, DVDs and cable subscriptions would cover it, but somehow they never have enough...at least it was just one bit of product placement at the end instead of a smattering constantly snapping me out of the movie like the new Casino Royale.
You guys must have missed the H3T vs Wrangler scene in the beginning of the movie, that was pretty blatant, but brilliant!
Why stop there? What about all the poor panthers that got blown up in NYC?

I missed it because those two could reasonably be used as vehicles for a paramilitary operation, and the company logos weren't in my face.

We didn't I wanted the Jeep while Tiff wants the H3T. Setup exactly how they had them in the movie.
I didn't find the Acura to offensive, especially when you compare to product placement in some other movies. Besides lets face it if you had Stark money you to would be driving things no one else could get their hands on.
Looking at the topic, I was sure this was the car you were after...
I was thinking of the wrong Avengers.

mmmmmm.....ms peel....
I saw that "NSX" somewhere else - maybe a trailer or a commercial. Who makes a car look that cool, and then paints it Leisure Suit Brown?

I think it's actually a purple of some sort.

No, you were thinking of the right Avengers.
Don't forget the Bentley John Steed drove.
Speaking of product placement did you catch all the Farmer's Insurance stuff while NY was being trashed?
And, you did stay for the shawarma scene after the credits right?
You are right, there were 2 sets of videos after the show ended.
Now what's shawarma? (that's not how I would have spelled it from listening to them pronounce it)
