car shows part 1

I just have to say wow oh wow for one hell of a weekend though.... Its started sat morning with getting up at 6am to attand a car show at rockenback chevy dealship in grayslake, IL for thier tunrer show, i was taking pics of the event and offering photo pack for sale.....that turned out to be a waste of time since i didnt sell anything....but i did run into one of the guys from the message board because of his t-shirt from GRM....i think his screen name was marty of something.....sorry if i got that wrong. but here is a pic of him and the car he brought.... and the link to the rest of the show pics. http://s666.photobucket.com/albums/vv29/sacranoidclub/colbolt%20%20club%202010/

and now marty and he did have a grm sticker on the window also....

a very funny pic fot you guys. this two said it took them about 4 hours to lay the tape out for this tape job...it was funny though.....

and something none chavy to show up. i think this is a vr4...but but quote cause i am not sure off hand. but still its cool loking car.

Nice sticker, Marty! Did you have that on the car when we were over? I would have remembered that.

Since we have northern IL type people, what say we to a beer night or coffee night or something resembling a social gathering during which we discuss automobiles? I'll be happy to do the calendar adding and event posting, if anyone is interested in coming.

I'll tell you, though, I really have extremely little interest in car shows. I would much rather get a bunch of us at Buffalo Wild Wings or The Ram or some place and BS, drink beer, and talk about our own cars instead of looking at strangers' cars.

Nope, just put that sticker on this week. I think it was Duke or Maroon that posted it in the hotlink thread and I juts had to have it.

That guy with the VR4 has that motor in it dialed. Lots of chrome and bling everywhere. His buddies car next to him is a Conquest he bought new in '89. Some cool guys.
