As of the 9th, my winter beater is down for the count. Was in the left lane on the interstate, traffic slowed abruptly, lady in a newer Civic lost it and hit me hard enough to total both cars. Didn't even have it long enough to change the oil... but on the plus side, her insurance is giving me a bit over $3k for it... not bad considering I have about $600 into the car My 9000 Aero will be thankful once the parts arrive and spring rolls around

RIP, sole example of a Saab being an investment.

Personally, I think it's a good time for another c900... http://burlington.craigslist.org/cto/2100364980.html

I feel you.

I had the opposite happen. I bought my friends 240sx out of an impound lot, so we could just get it out.

On the way home we get hit by a guy that just wasn't paying attention. He admitted fault and all that, and we got 2K, with out fighting the insurance company. For a 1989 240sx, in almost perfect shape. All it did was crack a tail light, push in the bumper and wrinkle the 1/4 panel a little. You have to look for the damage.

We split it. Easiest grand I've ever made...
