WOW! almost 25,000 Ford expeditions looks like at least twice that of explorers.

So far I just aint caring. Sure there are some notable cars on that list, most in the oddities category and who knows the circumstances behind their trade ins... disgruntled ex-wives, almost non running heaps..ect. 99 percent of the cars on this list are the same ones that already flood the budget used car lots around here.

I kinda hope folks get this worked up about the cash for clunker appliances program that is coming up. I really cant wait to hear people defending old water heaters and what not.

At least the majority of the cars that would be considered any great loss, the numbers were pretty low (like less than 5 in most cases). I still think its amazing for people to be stupid and lazy enough to take $4500 for a farily late model vehicle that should be worth easily twice that (for example, audi allroad, $8500-$16k on CL, but quite a few were traded in).
