In the middle of the article there is a link to another article saying they are bringing them to the US. They are adding teenager proof bodywork, chrome bumpers, four doors, 4wd, and 42" chrome spinners to try to reach the american market.

Am I wrong for wishing that Volvo and Koenigsegg would get together and make a Caterham seven type vehicle using the forthcoming 2.0L Volvo E-turbo, jointly developed chassis and Koenigsegg 3D printed panels and smaller components to target the X-bow/Atom crowd?

It's a pipedream, but what a dream it would be.
