Ceramic or Semi-Metallic Pads on the P71?

The P71 had been acting funny when stopping, so I finally pulled the wheel off and the rotor is eating up the pad. I don't want to pay much to fix it, so the budget rotors on ebay are the way to go. I got some there for the Escort and they were fantastic.

Originally the P71 has semi-metallic pads with the hardware identical to all CV models (rotors are identical as well). Ceramic are much cheaper, but will I miss anything about the S-M? I've found brake and rotor kits that are within a few dollars for different materials.

Suggestions?

surprised semi-mets are more money. usually I find them to be slightly cheaper.

I greatly prefer how they feel, and don't mind the dust/noise.

I hate ceramic, they wear rotors faster and don't stop as well as semi metallic

That seems to be the general consensus from my local crowd as well. I'm going to place my order.
