I can not find my cory bell book. So I am shooting for no more than 300hp and I will be using a air to air intercooler. All of my cooling air will come from an electric fan pulling down through the rear deck lid. So how many CFM does the fan need to pull?

wouldn't the amount of airflow needed depend on the efficiency of your heat exchanger? flow rates, no. of fins per inch and such?

yes it would. But these are my options. The core is 20X8X3 so I can do one 10" fan or 2 8" fans.fans As you can see the 10" fan is 1000 cfm and the 8" fans are 374 cfm. The 10" fan will just not fit in the space as well, but is is cheaper and has more flow than 2 8" fans. So I am thinking if 1 CFM of intake air gives you .66hp(trubo motor) then the I will be pushing around 450CFM at max power. So around 750 CFM seems like enough. Please fee free to correct my numbers and or thinking.
