This is a true statement, and one that we agree with.
But...
We did learn a LOT from that event, not he least of which was that doing something poorly was worse than not doing it at all. We have a dedicated event department now, and events are a considerable part of our business model. Further expansion of one of our signature events is certainly something that comes up in staff meetings on a pretty regular basis.
That doesn't mean you should look for an entry form on Motorsportreg any time soon, but it's certainly something that's on our long-term radar.
I'm really curious how the Roadkill $3000 drags go. Apparently their approach is going to be "present us your car, we'll decide whether it's worth $3k or not" which tells me they have literally no clue how much of a nightmare they're creating for themselves. Still, I wish them luck. Every event like that is good for the overall scene.
