We were on the ball last year and had magnetic material to stick our GRM number panels to, compliments of the vinyl guy. Somehow, our buddy Bill "misplaced" them. Anybody have the stuff, or know where to easily obtain it without having it shipped?
Shpanks.
home depot.
go to the air conditioning section and buy a couple packs of the magnetic vent covers. they come in various sizes and cut with ordinary household scissors
Friggin suite. Thanks. I'll give'er a shot.
If they're out of those, most larger art supply stores carry it.
Yep and I picked mine up from Micheal's Craft Store.
Would it be possible to use this approach for all required stickers? That would make the removal process a whole lot easier post Challenge.

For me, Michael's = Walmart. I won't go in that godforsaken place.
I bet that there is a specific amount of G-force required to overcome the magnetic attraction of that material. If you are going fast enough around the corners to make your numbers fly off, are you pulling 1G? 1.5G? Mine have never come off I can tell you that!

Absotively. I wish I would've had enough for all of them last year. If you're a non-procrastinator, applying the stickers on the magnets at the hotel on thursday is easier than at the track...where it's windy...and you have no clean work surface. I am not a non-procrastinator.
Yeah, I don't go to Walmart either. Unfortunately, Michael's was the only place nearby that was open late enough to get the magnetic sheet.
Hey Poopie, I've got about fifteen magnetic strips measuring about 4" wide by 12" long. They should work for what you want. You want me to bring them? They're free.
