As the flyer says there will be a Charity Autocross benefiting the Wounded Warriors Project Charity Saturday, March 27th at Grissom AFB in Peru, Indiana. This will be a timed event setup in a Test and Tune fashion (i.e. not an SCCA points event) and no classes will be ran. This event is open to any make and model car (sorry no trucks or suv's) and will be a great event for beginners to come out and get their feet wet, or more experienced competitive driver's to come out and get in some extra runs early in the season. There will also be a few more experienced drivers on hand giving instruction if you would like it. Not only will this be an extremely fun event, but it is also supporting a great cause. If you wish to donate more than the $25 dollar minimum it will be gladly accepted.

If you have any question please email or call Andrew Stevens at stevensa@purdue.edu or (219) 741-0414.

4 hours on the dot... I think I'm going to have to pass on this one. I'll send it to my uncle in IN, although I believe that he has sold his Porsche.

Also too far away for me but good luck with the event. Weather in March in Indiana might be a problem.

In reply to alxdgr8:

I live close enough to Grissom that my SCCA Region has 3 Regional events and 2 test and tune days scheduled there for this year. I'm sure there are guys from my region that want to get some practice in early this year, and yours is a worthwhile charity.

You might find some customers here:

In addition to Ft Wayne Region, I know Indy has a lot of guys that love Grissom. They also have their forum on sccaforums. Good Luck.

Ooh, I'll plan on being there. Is there any preregistration or an entry cap?
