A friend needs to ship his 300zx from johnson city,TN to Las Vegas.

After looking up me driving it, that looks like a $1200-1300 trip including gas and two hotel over nights (naps really), and compensating me for two days of lost work. Im 26, but I just can't drive all night after driving all day. 14 hours to florida is getting to be long for me.

I know theres a site that truckers use to fill empty spots on their trucks and hes not in a super rush either. Any one know of this site? Or another way to get his Z there in its current shape?

U-Ship. I've used I several times, great results.

In order to get the cheapest rates, I solicited bids from U-ship. I looked for the most deently rated shipper with the lowest bid, and then contacted them directly, not through U-Ship. Got $100 less than their (already low) u-ship bid.

It was $700 from San Diego to Detroit.
