$0 interior repair on my Lada Niva

This is what my interior looked when I got it (after a few hours of cleaning mind you). Missing bits, switches and a mess of wires.

1995 Lada Niva Cossack 1.7i interior

Added a Triumph Spitfire headlight switch, some scrap sheet metal and a little paint I added the panel around the heater controls. And that panel below the heater controls? I created that with some misc early Niva interior plastic, some wood wall paneling, and some random switches (one from a 70s Mini and other two are just old parts store ones I had in stash). The wood grain give it a bit of class eh? :) No out of pocket expenses so far on the interior. I know its not perfect but its functional now! Floor mats added from the 1991 Niva as well. Still have to re-hook up the wires but very close.

New dash panel with a dash of class

Was that little yellow duck standard equipment on that model?

The rubber duck was the best improvement.

What an improvement! And good thinking. But in Soviet Russia, rubber duck drives you. No, wait, that doesn't work.

You have to love a car that size with that many shift levers. I saw lot of those Nivas down in Venezuela. Look like lots of fun.
