Anybody have a suggestion for a source of cheap steel wheels for a 1st gen Focus? I'm thinking now's the time to shop for snow tires.

For that matter, I may want to put snows on the stock rims and get some wider steelies (if that's possible) for stickier rubber. I personally think black steelies make anything look badass, so I wouldn't mind running them most of the year.

Best bet would be the local junkyard. You could also check FocaJet.com and FocusFanatics.com. for people looking to sell their old wheels after an upgrade..

All base model Focii have come with steelies standard. In 14" on early years and 15" later on. I have been hunting for 16" ones for two years and haven't found any yet.

Because of the 4 x 108 bolt pattern, wheels are a little hard to find. I have seen a list of other cars that use the same pattern but can't remember where ( maybe one of the websites). You can use anything with a 45mm to 52mm offset without running into clearance probelems. The wheels also need a 63.4 center hole becasue the Focus wheels are hub-centric. Adapters can be found for wheels with larger center holes.
