I agree that the Superformance 7esque is the nicest-finished one that I've seen. But for that money, you can get so much more performance in a used kit car that a Zetec seems mundane.

Superformance also had a rotary version or at least someone in the Birmingham Alabama had converted one to rotary that did a fair amount of autocross with it some years back. I think the owner also had a Superformance Cobra and also a Stalker 7 later on.

My bad, Ford built one and paraded it around. That said, a 2.0 Ecoboost is on the list of engines on Caterham USA's website.
