I'm fairly certain that your going to wind up dropping the whole sub-frame 
Fun fact of the day: SAAB 9000s have a split sub-frame, making gear box removal DIY friendly. 
WILL THE REAL SAAB PLEASE STAND UP!
I did the transmission on a GM900. you need to drop the subframe.. but don't worry, it's only 6 bolts
