It may be a little trite, but I think there's a little satisfaction to be had from getting all 1's on your odometer. It's like your car's 21st birthday, where it becomes a real grownup.
Scott and David just witnessed our the GRM Nissan Pathfinder support vehicle having just such an episode. Sorry for the crappy photo, but Scott's Blackberry isn't ideally suited to this sort of work.
Let's hope the GRM Pathfinder doesn't go on a bender to celebrate...
When I saw the title I thought of Aces Cafe in England...oh, well.
But I can see how this would appeal to someone who deals in code.
!!!!!111!!11one!!!11111!one!!!!
Googled: 111!!! and came up with psalm 111:1 which is apparently an acrostic poem.
Best read using the voice of the Reverend Lovejoy.
Psalm 111
1 Praise the LORD.
I will extol the LORD with all my heart
in the council of the upright and in the assembly.
2 Great are the works of the LORD;
they are pondered by all who delight in them.
3 Glorious and majestic are his deeds,
and his righteousness endures forever.
4 He has caused his wonders to be remembered;
the LORD is gracious and compassionate.
5 He provides food for those who fear him;
he remembers his covenant forever.
6 He has shown his people the power of his works,
giving them the lands of other nations.
7 The works of his hands are faithful and just;
all his precepts are trustworthy.
8 They are established for ever and ever,
enacted in faithfulness and uprightness.
9 He provided redemption for his people;
he ordained his covenant forever—
holy and awesome is his name.
10 The fear of the LORD is the beginning of wisdom;
all who follow his precepts have good understanding.
To him belongs eternal praise.

You're kidding? They took a camera phone picture of the odometer when it got to 111,111? Who in their right mind would do that?

I am so doing this when the Escort hits 00000 for the third time.
123456 on the GLI this week.
My Trailblazer hit 66,666 last night in the driveway. But I didn't think to take a picture....
yep, saw "factory fresh" 00000.0 in my 90 cavalier back in the day
I'm waiting for my E250 to come up 444444. Probably some time this year. The E150 came up all 2s a couple of months ago. No picture though, I wasn't paying attention and missed it.
when my Geo got to 100,000miles I snapped a pic at 100 MPH.
Whats the statue of limitation on speeding...
I turned 200,000K miles on my old maxima, at 125ish. This of course was on a closed race track.
I just replaced 2 injectors, had to give it a proper test.

you realize that 200,000K is two hundred million miles.
You may have broken a record with that one...
I've only owned one vehicle in my life that I would have had the opportunity to see that number come up. I'm only 50, maybe someday I'll own something less than a decade old....
Purely accidental. I was just taking a picture of the steering wheel.
I should hit 1,111 in the Accent by next week, perhaps on Thursday, 11/11. Did I mention it can do 1-11 mph in 1.1 seconds?
I just rolled through 180,000 on the 9C1 tonight.
I think I might be on the Autism spectrum -- I love number patterns on odometers, and will drive extra distances if I am close just to witness them. The BMW has an electronic odometer, though -- no where near as satisfying to watch as the Miata's analog odomoter when it "rolls".

Not "all aces", but still a significant number.
That's my Geo, on the way back home from an autocross in 2007.
are bad things going to happen when my Mini makes it to 66,666 miles? and are really good things going to happen at mile 77,777?
