Early Cadillac Escalade (2002-2006) is the answer here. For $7k, you can get a low mileage tow horse with a bulletproof drive train and the comfiest sofas in the world compared to the newer stuff.

Also, looks like the stereo system is totally integrated, so no way to put an aftermarket head unit on it? TI hate that about new cars...
Funny you should mention that. I was washing it last week in prep for our trip and I found the first rust spot, a little pinprick inside the LR door frame. The hood and hatch are aluminum, so they won't rust, but they are prone to the well-known Ford issue of the paint peeling. Our hatch is starting to do that a bit on the inside. I do everything I can to keep the rust at bay, I hit it with Fluid Film every fall, I keep it nicely detailed in the summer and clean the underside as often as possible. The vehicle is also garaged. But, as you know rust, uh, finds a way!
Yeah, the stereo is fully integrated. It has Sync 2 (aka MyFordTouch), which is fine, but after having Sync 3 with Android Auto in the Fusion, I'm spoiled. Apparently it's possible to upgrade it to Sync 3, but it's almost $1k in parts and some fiddling in FORscan, so that's not likely to happen.
