I want a Lincoln Towncar for the chassis and driving bits to go under my Ranchero. Therefore a wrecked one is perfect. My state requires that I have a dealer license to buy from auction. Hence needing a broker. There are the two cars that are currently available near me.

Suggestions on how to bid on one of these?

Copart has a list of brokers they use. You're probably best off calling one of them up.

Once you start adding up the fees, it might be cheaper and less hassle to just try to find a non-runner or something on Craigslist.

Ive been looking at parts cars there as well and have the same issue.

Now im watching nearby out of state auction instead of local.

Make sure you are well aware of the other fees associated with buying on copart. My last $550 car ended up being around $850 after fees and that was without a broker.
