Hey Guys,

So I searched around, but there has to be a cheaper - non-wood based way of corner weighting. I just ordered the Paco Alignment stands - and the Exocet is around 1500lbs. Seems like there must be a cheaper set of scales since the max weight is roughly 400lb per scale? Any clues? Most "real" race scales are ~900, but each load cell in those is good for 1500lbs. Seems overkill, right? I'd like to play a bit more with car setup, so being able to change the setup quickly is my priority of sorts.

I use to use SunBeam / Pelouze shipping scales that had 400lbs per pad rating had to do the math but its easy once you get used to it.

pelouze shipping scale 4040 they used to be $75 each.

I'd be tempted to try theses wally mart 660lbs units for the price of $188 for all 4.  Global indaryal shows the old sunbeam /palouze like unit for $60 eack but there 400 lbs where the linked ones are 660 so gives you extra room.

Oh nice! I was failing to find a scale that wasn't at or very close to the imagined 400lb number. That one looks like it could be just the ticket.
