Run away from any XJ-12. Aside from rust, I've seen two owners 'go broke', i.e. spend more rebuilding the engine than the car was worth once it was done. One of the biggest money pits I can think of.
Why rebuild a V12? They don't wear out nor do they tend to break. (They're built impossibly strong) If someone broke it because of a lack of oil or water, $1000- 1500 will get you a good replacement. (Check car-parts.com)
The rest of it is pretty simple compared to it's German or Italian counterparts

That's a pretty awesome car. Needs a few updates (ugh, that exhaust!) but really pretty cool.
I pulled up next to him once in my Rabbit and it sounded awesome, he gave me a head nod lol

I'm going to email about it! Looks too good to be a $2900 Benz, even needing coil packs etc, so we'll see what they have to say.
Edit: ahh damn it I read the fine print and the $2900 is the minimum down payment. Oh well, probably for the best.
Apparently this one's been for sale for a while, But I want it.

Custom single TB because it was rule advantageous not the best set up.
Be careful with those. Many teams weren't able to finish due to failures.
As far as the Dif, probably a civic, very popular amoung bike engined crowd and the are cheap with multiple sources and styles.
Someone passed away I bet...
