This is a great magazine. I have a friend who is in the hospital after being hit by an IED in Afghanistan. He faces an extended recovery due to severe injuries and loss of a limb. I called Grassroots to see if they have some discount or program for veterans. Lisa asked for some info on the matter, and twenty minutes later I got an email telling me he's hooked up with the magazine. Sincere thanks from a reader, an advertiser and someone who's very impressed with the magazine with speed and a heart.
These guys have so much class it hurts!
It doesn't hurt that they have their nose involved in almost any cool racing going on in the USA
I've been a subscriber since '92 I believe, and it's the only one I've ever gotten where you actually feel like you could walk up to them and just talk like a normal person. OK, in fact I've done that and used to autocross on occasion with Per some back in the day, although I didn't know him very well. Point is, they've always been extremely nice and approachable, and as long as I have an interest in cars, I'll have a subscription from them.
Oh, and thanks for supporting our service men and women!
Post Office "if it fits it ships"; does that apply to Afghanistan?
I'll bet we could come up with about four tons of pre-read magazine!

Open memo to the Suddards and GRM staff: You people are top flight. Took all of 20 minutes to make a command decision like that? Your stock just doubled in my opinion. Thank you.

In a world of faceless, corporate, money grabbing companies, it's nice to know that a magazine like Grassroots Motorsports can thrive and survive. I really don't know how everyone involved finds the time to get everything done, but keep up all the fantastic work. GRM'er for life. You could double the subscription price and it would still be one of the best bargains out there. A big thumbs up and thanks to the entire staff that produce Grassroots Motorsports and Classic Motorsports.
GRM is honestly one of the best magazines I've ever read, and I think I know why, now. That heart and soul shows in the work you put out, setting it apart from other auto mags. When I'm done with school I'm going to be able to get a subscription finally, I promise!
it's 'bout the only one left that I read ... I'll be pushing 70 when this subscription runs out... praying that I will still be able to renew for another 10... and yeah they're like that ... at least at the Rolex they are... even with all the stress of putting on such a great show
are all ya-all starting to blush ... just a little ...?
I don't read any other car mags. I love this one.
Top Shelf all the way, everyone who works at GRM that I have met (at I think that might be 80 % give or take at this point) has been both friendly and helpful. Really this is just another reason among thousands to say "You are the best"

I was at the airport the other day about to go on a 5 hour flight with no entertainment at all. I went into the store looking for GRM. They had a good selection, but no GRM. I elected to just read the emergency procedure leaflet on my flight rather than read mt, c&d, etc. You've ruined any other magazine for me.
Getting into airports is HARD. Well, scratch that... getting into airports is easy, you just have to write a HUGE check. Maybe someday, though.
And, seriously, thanks for all the kind words. The magazine you read is really a product of the people who produce it,and the special combinations of their personalities. We may not appreciate it every moment we're doing it, but when we can lift our heads above the fray, we really do think it's a special mix. We're glad other folks feel the same way.
I'm celebrating my 21st year at the mag this month (maybe this week, I need to look it up). It's the only "real" job I've ever had. Honestly I can't really imagine doing anything different. While that gives me very little bargaining power as an employee, it gives me a lot of satisfaction as a human. Maybe that's more important.

I've never met any of you guys/gals, but it seems to me that y'all really love your jobs. That comes through in every magazine you produce. To top that off, you also seem like just plain good people and that is worth a lot by itself. Keep up the good work, we appreciate it.

+1 to the people at Lime Rock too. We're trying to set up a live web feed of a track event to keep Liam "in the loop". Scott and Georgia at Lime Rock couldn't have been nicer, we're set with an internet connection, we just need to figure out how to hook up a web cam. Anybody here a hot coed with a shower cam? If they can do it, it can't be so hard a bunch of geezers can't figure it out.

I was talking with Joe Gearin about my upcoming ad in the magazine, and he mentioned something I hadn't really realized. No boner pill ads! They actually turn down ad revenue to keep it clean in there! That says a lot about the corporate mentality. The other car mags? They don't have any class.
